This blog tells of Roni's ups and downs of everyday life as she adjusts to being a full time mom in France, struggling with the french language and driving on the other side of the road!
France is so big compared to Malaysia and has a lot of beautiful places to visit. We are fortunate to be in the SW area where the mountains and the sea are both accessible in close proximity :) Yes, the weather is nice. I think Spring & Autumn are my favourite seasons cos its not too hot and not too cold.
I left my 15 year career in banking to be a SAHM to Lucas, my 2 year old baby. We moved to Tarbes, France to be with Luc's papa and are adjusting to a brand new life with unpredictable weather, lack of Asian food, a difficult new language, having to refine my driving skills, different culture and starting a new life all over. I am adjusting to not having a maid which means technically speaking I am the maid... My family and friends are far away and I am missing them.
I'm mad for Hugh Grant, Simon Baker, Sam Worthington, Adam Sandler, Gerard Butler; prefer McSteamy over McDreamy; Edward Cullen over Robert Pattinson; love romantic comedies and the occassional tearjerker; I speed read a book a day; haven't done any ironing for the past 2.5 years; prefer beaches to mountains; I sing in the shower(very badly!), am obsessed with my horrible toenails, love to shop and absolutely hate housework!
the view looks great.. i really envy you lah. anyway the weather looks terrific.. not too hot and not too cold (remind me of genting which i miss)
