Today when I went to pick Lucas from the creche I got a piece of good news! Malika happily told me that Lucas told her "pee" and she took off his diaper and he went to sit on the mini toilet himself! BECAUSE he saw his friend go "potty" and he wanted to follow :)
What a breakthrough! I am going to put him on our toilet instead of the plastic potty and see if he goes later...

Woohoo! His on his way to greater things there! ;) My eldest, 3 1/2 has been couche-less since last summer. He even pees standing up, comme les grands now ;) (which he is so proud of!) He is with his underwear for his sieste but we still put a 'pull-up' couche for him at night :(. He has not mastered long hours pee-free yet unfortunately. Not sure if we are doing the right thing though.. We started off with no diapers even at night, but he kept on wetting his bed all too regularly. As for the little one (27 months), we are 'trying' to potty train him. He sees his brother doing it, so it 'motivates' him a little. But of course nada when he sits on the pot. He sees it as a game. We now try to put him on the real toilet with the 'siege' thing (don't know what it's called!). This is going to be one hell of a ride again..
